March Mini Album Tutorials and Challenge

Hello friends!  You continue to amaze us with your fabulous contributions to our challenge blog.  It was wonderful to see each and every project and get to know some new faces.  If you haven't visited our February entries, do hop over for a big dose of inspiration.  Today we begin a new challenge with a fabulous sponsor, Seth Apter!

One lucky participant will win a complete set of Seth's new Baked Texture embossing powders!  THE talk of Creativation this year, these highly coveted new powders are selling off the shelves as fast as they can be made.  You won't want to miss this opportunity to win the ENTIRE SET!  :)

For more information visit Seth's social media links:

Our team is working hard to provide you with an amazing variety of mini album tutorials for your inspiration.  Hop around to each designer's blog for the full reveal and tutorial.

Astrid

I created a couple of minis for my granddaughters using the Graphics 45 Fairydust collection.  They hold not only lots of the lovely fairy images which they will love, but photos of themselves from when they were babies, up until now. They fit inside folders made the Eileen Hull cardbox die.  If you want to see more, just pop past my blog.

I have a new found love for ATCs, so I made a little ATC album holder to house them.  I used a couple of stencils from one of our Sponsors, Stencil Girl too.  You can see more here.

Hi Everyone. This super-simple mini is laser cut by one of our sponsors, Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.  It's called a Tri-Fold Pocket Mini and is just the right size for those small photos.  You can see more at Art-From-The-Heart.

This month I have created one of the easiest and most fun of all styles of mini album - a tag mini. This project was created from ONLY paper scraps, embellishments from my refurbish bin, and "broken" tags. To see how I made this fun mini, visit my blog, Scraps of Life.

I made a notebook and recorded the video process for you. Welcome to my blog.

I created an accordion fold cardboard mini album featuring products from this month's sponsor, Seth Apter's dies and Baked Texture embossing powder.  See closeups on my blog SewPaperPaint.

I hope these peeks have sparked your imagination and you will pay the design team blogs a visit.  We welcome you to play along with our challenge, which ends at 11:55 pm EST on March 31.  Join us on March 7 for our February winners announcement.

Our challenge follows a few simple rules:
Any Handmade Book Goes.  Enter any form of handmade mini albums, scrapbooks, journals and book arts.  Our focus is on completed works, so no layouts or journal spreads that are not part of a complete handmade book project.  You do not have to provide a tutorial, but we wish you would.  Feel free to use one of the DT tutorials to make your project and give proper credit where due.
